One license. One organization.
Plain-English summary of the MS Labs Single-Organization License that ships in every kit ZIP. The full legal text is in LICENSE.md inside the download.
- Install + operate the kit inside one organization you own, control, or work for
- Modify any file in the kit to fit your stack
- Share kit content internally with employees + contractors helping the install
- Get a full refund within 30 days, no questions asked
- Receive minor updates (v1.x) free for life
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the kit (any part of it) to anyone outside your organization
- Install MS-INTAKE for paid client work — that's the separate Agency License
- Publish kit contents (or paraphrases) to a public site, course, GitHub, Notion, or forum
- Remove the watermark, license header, or per-buyer identifier embedded in kit files
- Use the kit as training data for any publicly-accessible AI product
Every kit is stamped.
Each kit ZIP carries a unique identifier (UUID) tied to the purchase email. The identifier is embedded in:
The cover page of 00-START-HERE.mdThe metadata header of every Markdown file in the kitThe opening comment of every SQL and JSON templateThe PDF watermark (if you open the PDF distribution)
The identifier does notphone home. Nothing is transmitted. It's a static stamp — analogous to the serial number on a paid software box. If a copy appears in violation of the license, we trace the identifier to the original purchaser and pursue remedies available under copyright law.
That's the Agency License — different product.
If you install MS-INTAKE on behalf of clients you bill, the single-org license is the wrong product. The Agency License permits this use case explicitly, ships installation tooling, and costs less than what you'd charge a single client.

This page is a plain-English summary, not a substitute for the full license text in LICENSE.md inside the kit. Where the two differ, the in-kit license governs.
